For far too long much of those within The Church has said “get off drugs and come to Jesus” or “get your gender straight and you will not go to hell”.
But the fact of the matter is if it was just that easy, one would never need Jesus. If one could get of drugs on their own or overcome their gender confusion all by themselves then why have Christ in their life?
Jesus says “COME AS YOU ARE”, because once you meet and abide with Him, He won’t keep you as your are but will make you a BRAND NEW CREATION!!!
Only He can set all free and without Him, eternal life is not afforded to anybody. Doesn’t matter how you were born, what kind of family you had or don’t have, we all need Jesus and MUST BE BORN AGAIN!
I believe for the Church today, the Lord is allowing such issues to surface in America because we have treated the topic of being Born Again as some sort of denominational association unto being charismatic Pentecostal, yet neglecting the very power of what that actually means and the reality a spiritual rebirth means!
Too long the Church by which I gladly am apart of, has talk the talk but really hasn’t walked the walk in the POWER God has given.
Don’t believe me? Look at our quarrels about mask wearing. Honestly I am sick and tired of hearing about abiding by CDC guidelines when we are not or have not been putting a demand in prayer for the POWER OF CHRIST to manifest in our lives in healing the sick both physically and not just emotionally.
If we aren’t going to talk or pray in power, maybe it is best we wear a mask as a symbol of our long silence before the Lord.
Now I get it about the whole I care for you and you’re caring for me bit nd I am really grateful people say they make their choices because they care for me and that may be a legit process for many in and of itself; but in dealing with the Christ professing believer before we pound our chest and beat our drum; let’s hit the floor in prayer not just for our nation; but for The Church and for our spiritual walk and dare to get down deep repenting our way into the power of Christ, seeking to cultivate the life flow of His power and Love in and out of our lives.
For without confronting first His power and then His love, we as Christians can not say we are operating in God’s perspective of having a SOUND MIND! You MUST be born again!
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
The Lord will only use those to bring deliverance who actually live out of the reality of their second birth! For it is in the life that follows after such a spiritual renewal that affords that individual to SEE THE KINGDOM and PARTICIPATE IN THE KINGDOM WORK!
The Kingdom of God is not just our eternal home, but our present reality that Christ had made available!
Being born again doesn’t simply mean you believe in Jesus, for even the demons believe in Jesus and aren’t obviously saved. You may have prayed a prayer but you MUST BE BORN AGAIN or BORN ANEW to enter into the ongoing ‘workings out’ of your salvation, received from the cross of Christ!
It’s a whole experience into a NEW LIFE that changes EVERYTHING in your NOW and in just your then! Where you adapt a whole new second set of spiritual senses where you hear and see what the natural eye could not even recognize.
May we get our eyes on the prize and press into the Kingdom reality of Christ and all that He had called us to not just for ourselves but then also for others.
