BURIED ALIVE IN A BOX (A Word to the Struggling Christian)

Updated: Apr 13, 2021

This post is for those who are struggling Christians.

So let's face it, Christian life is not easy. Well God never promised it would be when He said in Matthew 7:14 strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Though God never promised Christian life would be easy, His Word GUARANTEE'S it's worth it!!

Sort of like the typical New Years resolution when everyone hits the gym and only few last beyond the first 2 weeks until the end of the year or their goal is fulfilled! For those who endured and stayed committed, will find that beyond the first 21 days or so, working out at the gym, becomes more of a lifestyle and mindset than a burden!

Concerning other struggles, it has often come to my attention that there are those who truly struggle with many personal intimate issues. Some of these include: lust, fornication, homosexuality, pornography, vanity and so on. There are some that are so intimate, one may indeed know Biblically it is wrong and so they pray and pray and pray for The Lord to do something about it, to take it out of them, but it seems they do not obtain victory and begin to think that perhaps this is just the way they were "assigned" or made to be!

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting (or Cast) down imaginations, and every high thing that EXALTETH ITSELF AGAINST the knowledge of God, and bringing into CAPTIVITY EVERY THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ;

For those who stumble and struggle and live with a defeated mindset would fend for themselves saying "Well God knows my heart, so don't judge me!"

Well my friend, if this is you, let me tell you that the issue is not your heart, but it is your mind! As scripture states we ought to take EVERY THOUGHT INTO CAPTIVITY to the OBEDIENCE of Christ!

Conforming to the way of wickedness comes first through the mind! It is the mind that must be renewed and in order for it to be renewed we must be willing to crucify whatever thoughts that come and jeopardize our walk in the way of righteousness! It is not a sin to have fleeting thoughts, but it is a sin if you allow it to linger!

Jesus said, you should love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with ALL YOUR MIND...Luke 10:27

We think the battle is in how we feel, but really the battle is in how we think!!!

If Satan can get through to your thought life, then your feelings change! As Christians we are given POWER OVER our thoughts!

For those who continue to live kept at bay with Satan's assault in their life, is like those seeking TO LIVE WITHIN THE COFFIN OF THE OLD MAN....THE OLD SINFUL NATURE.

If this is you, NOW is time for your breakthrough!!!

No matter what you face, you can BREAK-DOWN or you can BREAK-THROUGH! Either way you will be broken, but the end result is left up to you, whether you will relying on God's Word and conform more to what He says rather than to just how you feel!

Peter said ti Jesus, " Master, we have TOILDED ALL THE NIGHT, and have taken NOTHING! NEVERTHELESS!!...AT THY WORD...I WILL!!!... -Luke 5:5

That is the attitude we need to take to our prayer closets and our walk! Regardless of how you feel, regardless of how many unslept nights you wrestle in prayer, with defeated circumstances, we all need to have that NEVERTHELESS mentality and turn to God's Word and say...I WILL!!!

THAT is when you put Satan in his place...UNDER YOUR FEET and your life becomes transformed more into the NEW MAN NATURE God has ordained you to be!

You were BORN AGAIN to overcome!

So don't bury yourself alive in your own coffin, but let that stone be rolled away, come out of that cave Elijah and take off your old begging cloths and depression and put on the new garments Christ has in store for you!!! Don't live a victim to your feelings!

God Bless
