There may be those you know that are hard to pick out gifts for. Primarily because they lived for quite some time, accumulated their own wealth, and pretty much have anything that they need. Though they may already have a house and a car and are most likely settled and established, gifting them with anything better than what they already possess may very welcome come at a much higher price.
With this Christmas or holiday (which I call “holy day” 😉), we are reminded and rightfully celebrate the greatest gift God gave to mankind. This gift comes with no batteries or charger. Neither does it come with a limited warranty plan, because this gift is unbreakable, unchangeable and its gaurentee in worth is for the day and age we live in. The reason why this gift is so impactful and all-encompassing is because God gave the gift of LIFE and life Himself knows no end. This life came gift-wrapped in the skins of humanity, the man, Christ Jesus.
Now those who willingly and genuinely receive God’s gift, celebrates God’s gift. But to receive the gift of Life, we must realize that the Christmas (Christ-Worship) part of your Salvation, is a gift exchange kind of party 🎉. Oh yes! This is no “white elephant” gift giving kind of deal. But a gift giving exchange, nonetheless! For the value of such a gift to bring comes not at dollars and cents, but with a priceless treasure to exchange one’s sins for the whiteness of God’s glory and righteousness!!
But for our lives to be so IMPACTED and willing to gain the inheritance beyond a lifetime, what kind of gift could possibly be given, UNPACKED and found pleasing to God? I mean, He is God Almighty, what else could He possibly need or want? The earth is His and the fullness thereof. One can’t even put a price tag on that!
Well, I got your answer for you. The kind of gift that pleases God back is the kind of gift that imitates the gift He first gave, that keeps on giving.
You see, the earth is the Lord’s and He is a collector. He LOVES collecting those of earthen vessels, that make up more of the inhabitance of what He already possesses. In other words, it is the gift of a Life for a Life given.
For what kind of gift comes at such a high cost that a price tag can’t even obtain all its numbers? It’s the gift of giving YOUR LIFE to God!
Your life, gifted and delivered in repentance, wrapped in humility, name tagged by belief, and ribboned off with faith!
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
So if this time of your life you really want to impress God by giving Him the greatest gift you can, give Him your life! Be willing to become operational by faith and you will discover that the gift you gave will be a gift that also continues to give as well. The Lord will continually use for His pleasure and your joy, for regardless of what this world may say or what you may think; you were created to be connected and safely found within the possession of Your Creator!
From that moment forward, when we gave our life to Jesus and now have come to The Father, may we daily enjoy the sweetest gift exchange we share where life, love, joy and righteousness in the Holy Ghost can know no bounds!
Jesus is the reason for EVERY season. Regardless of what this “out of touch” world tries to make things to be, this world always remains one touch away from the redemptive gift of God! They just have yet to show up to the real gift exchange celebration, with the willingness to give of the proper kind of gift
God has extended His hands as a gift, will you do the same in return to Him?
Though He wholes the world, does He have yours? Does He hold (possess) your thoughts, your hopes, your worship, your attention, your surrender, your affection, your love, your commitment, your marriage, your relationships, your decisions, your life?
