STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the One, True God who has revealed Himself 3-fold as The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (The Godhead). Each is co-equal, co-eternal, and all comprised within the person and name of The Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22; John 14:16-18; Acts 2:38, 19:5; 2 Corinthians 5:19; 1 John 5:7).

We believe in Jesus dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily, the visible representation of the invisible God manifest in the flesh (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1,14; 20:28).

We believe in the creation, the fall, and the redemption of man. In that, man’s only hope is redemption through Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Savior of mankind, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6).

We believe that all Scripture is Holy, Infallible, and given by inspiration of God, as the writers were moved by the Holy Spirit, they wrote the words of God and that the Scriptures are the only rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).

We believe in the Salvation of Mankind

We believe the Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and is the power of God unto Salvation in Christ alone (Romans 1:16).

– Man’s redemption is through the blood of Jesus Christ (The Lamb of God). On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and a curse, providing both salvation and life for all mankind. This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, repenting (turning) from your sins, and confessing with your mouth, Jesus as Lord (Psalm 103:3, Acts 2:38; Romans 3:24, 10:8-10).

– Salvation is by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by human works, lest any man should boast; however our works are evidence of our faith and will determine our rewards in eternity ( Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10, Romans 14:10-12; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 5; Titus 3:5-7; James 2:18).

We believe in Water Baptism

We believe that the response required from every person who places faith in Jesus Christ is repentance from sin, baptism by full immersion in water to identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ in the fullness of His Name, for the remission of sins, followed by the infilling of the Holy Spirit to empower them for new life unto mature perfection in Christ. (Matthew 28:19; John 3:35; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4, 8:16; 1 Corinthians 10:2; 2 Timothy 3:16-17;1 Peter 3:21, 1 John 3:23).

The ongoing evidence of a disciple (follower) of Christ is the inner work of dying to self and living by the spirit, which will result in the outward expression of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:16, 14:17; Galatians 5; 1 John 3:23; John 13:35).

We believe in the celebration and power of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) by eating the bread and drinking the cup in remembrance of Jesus (1 Corinthians 11:24-30).

We believe in Spirit Baptism

We believe that all believers are entitled to, and should expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 2:38-39, 11:14-16, 15:7-9)

We believe in the evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: The common and most evident physical sign of this can be but is not limited to speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and should be evidenced by the manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and acts of service (Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 10:44-46,19:2, Acts 19:6, Acts1:8).

We believe that the infilling of the Holy Spirit also produces both gifts and fruit that are essential to the life of the believer, ministry, and the building up of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:1-31, Galatians 5:22-23).

We believe in The Church, The Bride of Christ

We believe The Church (Ekklesia) is built upon the foundation of Christ alone and the only entity He will build up that is His Body, the chosen New Covenant people of God, by which each believer is an integral part of His Body, The Body of Christ (Matthew 3:9, 16:18-19; Romans 9:6-7; Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23).

We believe that God has given His Church the gift of 5-fold ministry, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry, and the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12)

We believe that Jesus will return to receive/deliver up His Kingdom of saints (both alive and resurrected from the dead) who for the first time will see Him face to face, be clothed in immortality, reigning with Him for eternity in new heavens and a new earth. On that day, all people will be judged by Him, and the wicked shall perish in the lake of fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. (Daniel 12:2; John 3:13; Romans 11:25, 27; 1 Corinthians 15:24, 51-52; 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 4:16-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:1; Hebrews 11:39-40; Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 19:20, 20:1-7, 10-15, Revelation 21).

We believe in The Kingdom of God

We believe the Kingdom of God is two-fold, both a present reality and our future hope where Jesus reigns as King and is represented by His Church. (Matthew 3:2, 6:10, 7:21, 18:18)

We believe The Kingdom was and is the ministry of Jesus Christ, which comprises a divine way, power, and culture of righteousness that was kept hidden since the foundation of the world but revealed in Christ. (Matthew 3:2, 6:33, 13:35; Acts 1:3; Romans 14:17, 1 Corinthians 15:24)

We believe one must be born again (a-new) in order to discern, see the effects of and enter into the Kingdom. Being born a-new is evident of a life transformed by the power of Christ whereas the Kingdom is found within the life of the believer. (Luke 17:20-21; John 3:3-7)
