AS A FULL MOON TO A DARKENED WORLD

Judges 5:31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might…

To my fellow reader, I want to encourage you in this word of the very God appointed purpose we are called to walk in and show forth to a darkened world. Praise God, that even when we live in this world, only by His Word, His Holy Spirit, and daily fellowship with Christ we can be connected to a whole other world, the world of His Kingdom!

I Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

Picture in your mind, if you would, of a beautiful full light moon with the backdrop of a dark black sky. There is just something so alluring to the eyes of such a picture, that we are so blessed to see occasionally. It is so outstanding that we note it to be very, romantic. To just look and gaze upon a clear night sky, at the glowing radiant moon, in all of its glory in fullness, that it just causes your mind to be lost from everyday activity and enter to a realm of the unimaginable, the realm of space that’s so beyond man’s comprehension of limitation! Such beauty our Lord has created.

Now as you learned in science class, the light we see on the moon doesn’t come from the moon. It comes from the sun. The sun, which is the resource of the light from its fiery core shines forth to the moon, which results in the moon reflecting that light to the darkened side of the globe.

Brother, Sister, Church, we are called to reflect the light, the very glory of God to a darkened world! To show forth, as a witness (Luke 24:48), a living testimony of Christ’s great work, the Kingdom of God in all His glory that we can possibly show to a world that has not yet been resurrected out of death’s hold, which is sin. By living a lifestyle consciously aware if we are in correct alignment with God, as the moon has to be in set alignment with the sun, the very source of the light, in order to not only be a contributing witness of the sun’s present existence to the world, but to give forth of its purpose and ability to the world by means of the moon. If we are daily in correct set alignment with God, in daily fellowship and communion with Him, by the infilling of His Spirit, we will reflect and show forth God’s present reign of His unshakable Kingdom to a world that He has indeed allowed to be shaken!

Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

If you notice, my fellow reader, that not every night we get that full picture perfect moon that our Lord has created. Why is that you wonder? Why is that some nights we may only get a half moon, quarter moon, or crescent moon? Why can’t every night we get a full moon, to see it in all its splendor of beauty? We could say comparing to this half or quarter moon phases that a fully light moon is glorious in the way that it is appointed and set to be.

The answers to these questions is simple, due to God’s set order of our solar system. The fact that the earth is rotating on an axis, can sometimes get in the way between the sun and moon, which causes the moon to not be fully light at times. In other words, the earth is in the way.

The darkness that is spread on the moon, allowing only a little bit of light to be reflected depends on how much the earth, or the world rather, gets in relationship of alignment between the sun and moon.

We at times wonder why we as a people, a witness, a Church of the living testimony of Christ aren’t having much affect in the world today. If Christ told us to in Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give, then what keeps us from doing so at times? We allowed the world and it’s worldliness to get in the way. What is preventing us from living a joyous life and extending the love of God to others in the utmost capacity that God would allow us to live and do? I encourage us all, don’t allow the world and it’s filth get in the way of our set alignment in fellowship and obedience with God. Don't allow Satan through worldly reason or acceptance to influence you to quench the Holy Spirit. Don't enter in to the spirit of conformity to this world. Romans 12:1-2.

Christ is the giver of life! Freely we receive it from Him, by His salvation, the waters of baptism, and being eborn again! So it is an immediate set standard in our lives, from the time we gave our hearts to Christ at that alter of repentance, He placed in us the responsibility to show all people who He is through our lives! One of our greatest responsibilities as a son, a brother, a father, a Minister, etc. is in our best possible natural ability to be able to bring the presence of God to all those around us! We are held responsible to bring His fiery light to a darkened world. As called co-laborers of Christ and He being the head Laborer, He will add His Super to our natural ability. This hour He wants His Church, His people to show forth His super natural power to a world that doesn’t know nor posses such a power. By means of connecting hearts back to God. God wants to put on a pedestal His Church, The Church of Christ (Matthew 15:18) a Church that is in proper set alignment with God, ready at His command to reflect His Glory and usher it into this world!

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Matthew 15:16-19 (15)He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I (Jesus) am? (16)And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (17)And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (18)And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (19) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Also, another thing I want to point out to you my fellow reader is that, with out the sun and moon working together, we would not have any harvest of fruits or vegetables in our fields. When we submit to God as a servant, as His co-labored, in obedience to His command, then together we will bring forth fruit. If we just cast the seed that we freely receive from Him and freely disperse it in the fields of this world, He will bring forth the harvest of His Kingdom in such a powerful way! He will begin to revive the hearts back to life in the utmost powerful and yet violent way. As we stay reflecting and calling upon the Lord in constant prayer and repentance on behalf of a darkened world. He will bring a revival to the fields, a reviving of hearts back in relational alignment to Him!

Luke 11 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

I encourage us all that as a full moon is to a darkened world so let us be to this lost world. To live a lifestyle correctly aligned to God's voice, His will for our lives, and reflecting His goodness, power, and glory to all who are around us. Let’s show forth His Kingdom!

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
