BROKEN BEFORE HIS PRESENCE

Jeremiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

To my fellow reader, this word has been made cultivated in my heart from the Lord as I think upon this generation and the shaking not only with in the nation, but the house of God, the church.

I Samuel 5:2-7 (2) When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. (3) And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. (4) And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. (5) Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. (6) But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof. (7) And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

As we have read, the Ark of the Covenant was stolen by the Philistines and placed in the house or temple of their false god Dagon. They placed the Ark which contained the living presence of God into a place that contained the dead presence of a false god. Life and death does NOT mix! Death had to bow down and submit when life entered the room! Like when Jesus called Lazarus to come forth! When Jesus spoke life in the purpose of promise to be fulfilled, death had to loose its grip upon Lazarus’ body! (John 11).

As I read this passage in I Samuel, a cry formed in my heart for the church and the will of God upon this generation who are saved.

How is it that an idol that has NO life WHATSOEVER be able to break when God’s presence entered into the room and yet when we are in church and the presence of God comes in our Sunday morning services, we can have an ongoing tendency to live life not broken? How is that we, the church are able or capable to still let infirmity and even a spirit of depression to come within even 30 feet of the church’s grounds? How is it?

This is a time that God is shaking foundations for brokenness to take place! Do we want to see people of all nations, especially in America, to come down to its knees in repentance and embracing salvation in Christ? Then we must allow the presence of God to get us, individually, to our knees daily! We got to, got to, got to be broken!

A true broken life does NOT go walking around in its own agenda asking God to bless whatever they feel like doing in the name sake of self building ministry! But a broken life always asks God first what it is that they ought to do in ministry, for His guidance! We can’t put God in the copilot chair; we are the copilots, the co laborers!

We pray for the presence of God to fall upon our lives, yet idols remain standing when they ought to fall! We can’t allow the sticky tape of pride and vanity to keep us and our agenda’s from being broken before the presence of God!

Be encouraged brother, sister and church that our Lord wants to take us to new places in the spirit, new places of the Kingdom that we have never been before, to show forth a power from the throne that has not yet been seen. However we must be unglued and out of our comfort zones to keep in pace with the cloud by day and fire by night. To keep in pace with the flow and present move of the Spirit of God! Remember, Israel followed the cloud and pillar of fire which is the leading presence of God, It didn’t follow them.

Just like when Jesus was asleep in the boat (Mark 4:35-4) with the disciples in the middle of the storm. The disciples cried in fear of the storm and woke up Jesus saying, “Don’t you care if we drown?” You see the disciples heard and were instructed to make it to the other side of the sea, but they were looking at the situation by their own means. They were scared that the ship would BREAK and they wouldn’t make it to the other side!

Think of Paul when he was in a storm while on the ship (Acts 27:13-44). They made it to the other side as the angel of the Lord spoke, however there ship was BROKEN in pieces and on those broken pieces that is how they made it to the other side!

We indeed want to make it to the other side of what God has for us as a church and even individually, but as we all know by now in this writing, BROKENESS has to take place!

The disciples had Jesus in the boat, the very Son of God and yet they were afraid that they would die, if the ship was to break apart, to be broken!

To be broken before the Lord IS NOT a bad thing, it IS a great thing! To repent IS NOT a bad thing, it IS a great thing! To be consecrated and separated from worldly lifestyle IS NOT a bad thing, it IS a great thing!

We have allowed the twisting of Satan’s deceptive influence to enter in to the minds of The Church, to think and quench repentance and consecration to be a BAD thing, when meanwhile it IS a great thing that brings nothing but LIBERATION in Jesus! Therefore many don’t preach it, but try to get to the grace factor and mercy with out Repentance!!! We Got to Be Broken!

Don’t allow Jesus to be asleep in the Church! By that I mean, don’t allow the Presence of God to slip away from the church, the family, the marriage, and the relationships! Don’t allow it, due to our unwillingness to be broken and show respect to God’s authority!

The groom will NOT speak to the bride, if she does not show Him respect!

I encourage us all, church, that the groom, Jesus Christ, wants to take us to the other side of a love rendezvous with Him, in the Spirit!

Don’t allow the idols to remain unbroken in the church! We want to see the drug attics, the prostitutes, alcoholics, backslidden, prodigals, and etc to come to church and be broken in repentance before the presence of the Lord at the alter! I just want to say, repentance should never just linger and be left at the alter. We must carry it, picking up our cross DAILY and FOLLOWING Jesus!

God wants to reveal more of His Kingdom by both power and scripture to THIS Generation. I believe the Church, especially in America, is experiencing such a shaking to really enforce more of the things concerning the Kingdom in both power and scripture concerning the issues of eternal life and present life! Then there will be enforced a true humble brokenness before the presence of God and His word, as we are met before such truth and comission for the church to continue to move foward in revelation within God's purpose!

Isaiah 6:1-8 (1) In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. (2) Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. (3) And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. (4) And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. (5) Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. (6)Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: (7)And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. (8) Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

God Bless
