EXPECTATION

I just recently finished my own personal study on having our expectation toward the Lord in situations. God really spoke to me through my several night study and I would love to share some of what I learned with you, my fellow reader.

I always wondered for myself, if I had the right qualifications to expect God to move in a certain way that I thought or asked him to move, concerning any situation. I at first didn't know exactly what it took, (as a new believer and servant) what it took on my part, to just depend on God. Now...there may be some of you readers that have had this very similar thought cross your mind.

Well there is a trust that must take place, in order for God to move. In the Bible, it says you must believe! So faith comes into play. There my fellow reader, are the two components that you must need to fully feel confident in order to have the expectation of the Lord to move in your situation or circumstance. Both Faith and Trust! With those two key components; built, embedded, and sealed in the most inner of your heart, you will (I guarantee it) have no problem expecting God to move. Now, as I kind of mentioned earlier about God moving in away that I expect him to move, well it does say in the Bible, ask and you shall receive, however, it may not come to you, when you expect it, or in a complete different package then you thought. However, God is not a god of disappointment that is never His plan. He loves you unconditionally.

So I encourage you, reader; that if you truly know and accepted God as Lord of your life...well im sure He knows exactly what you need, when you need it. He said in the Bible, that He knows the desires of your heart. So when things don't make sense on how exactly you may have had some expectation of God in a certain way, and He seemed to do something different, well that is just his will and way for your life. It says in the book, Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. It also says in the book of James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven in the wind and tossed. Remember...Lord means ruler above all and anything. God created you and even knows the very number of hair on you head. Don't you think He knows what situation you’re in and how to deliver you out of it? He is in control, He is the God and you are the man/woman. So like the song..." Don't worry, be Happy" God has it all under control and you can just have the expectation that He will move mightily in you life. Remember, it's not important what God does through you, but in you.
