HELPERS OF JOY

II Corinthians 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
To my fellow reader and follower in Christ, problems in the church have been a most common conversation among many, especially in churches of America today. There has been much talk and yet no action, though the problems are relevant indeed and quenching to the flow and order from the authority of the King who sits upon the throne over His church. Nevertheless, these problems were not new to the beginning years of the Church in the early and first of the Apostle’s day.
I want to encourage us of how these problems in which we allow can be an agent used to help our faith if proper action is taken only by the Spirit of Christ within. We have seen and perhaps personally dealt with some problems spiritually that has quench to what we know that God wants to do according to His word.
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
It has been, sad to say, so easy to talk about the issues of Christ’s beautiful bride and to know how true it is. So much conversation can be all we think about and all we see. Such a burden for the love we share for the house of God can get heavy rest heavy upon our heart to where all we see in the Word is the problems others dealt with and not so much of the solution. But Paul says IF we live in the spirit; let us walk also in the spirit.
I know there is renewed vision the Lord wants to give to His children, His bride. A sight that we can loose due to the heaviness we have succumbed when dealing with such pains and talk that are truly problems in and of itself and in great concern for the body of Christ. But I encourage all of us that we must rightly divide the unrighteous issues from the powerful truth of power God has in store for His Body to operate in! Not to allow the sins of the saints to be the only thing we see and bring blindness upon our eyes for the land of a lost community, a lost people, that God has called us to restore in His name!
Paul says in II Corinthians 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand. Many divisions have taken place among fellowship and relationships because many have tried or thought that others who function within the church have done so JUST to dominate over God’s flock in their own carnal way. God be the judge in these areas, and there are times where it is relevantly true, but I am not addressing the victim, but the defendant. Paul encourages us to put on the Spirit because there is a new perspective God wants you to obtain, especially in times like these where our opinion seems to be heavy on the problems and is spoken of often out of our mouths. But do we not perceive that in times when it seems like the most spiritual person, called to pour into lives (even imparts into your own life), is not walking right in Christ; that this could be the very thing used to help our faith and brings us closer to the Lord? This is not and should not be in vain glory, but brings us closer to the Lord by prayer for the person who is momentarily suffering. That without our prayers (only prayers that align with the heart of God and not quick impulsive thoughts from our own carnality) we could allow the person who is suffering to last more than a moment, but can experience downfall for a season and from a season to the remainder of a lifetime, until we cry out to God!
So what exactly is being applied here? That even when others in the body are acting dysfunctional according to the word of God and His heart, that scenario and situation can be used to be a helper of our joy, not in vain reason, but by drawing us closer to the Lord, for the persons behalf, knowing that death and even deceit has been defeated on the cross, therefore with this known truth we can have joy in our hearts and be expected to portray genuine joy to those who are not in proper alignment with the Lord.
II Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
We should not be ignorant of sufferings which result in the dysfunctional problems that does NOT capture the true hear of God, but as one who is not effected by such a plague must stand firm upon the Word and distribute light to the area.
John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
To bring justice to a situation is not to go correcting others being influenced of pride or self will, but it is to make something that is wrong…right. God is the righteous judge, therefore His judgments are righteous and if we judge, let us make things that were wrong…right, by the righteous DOING according to God’s word and not the doctrine of our own flesh. Being obedient to the Spirit of God within and not the spirit without (our flesh), which is a spirit without dicernment, knowledge, or anything concerning the aciknowledgement of the heart of Christ.
So I simply just want to encourage everyone that the devil is a thief and if he has been defeated at the cross, then he can be defeated within our lives if the cross resides in our heart. Share the wealth! Allow the correction from the Holy Spirit come into your life, even through others God has placed over you! May there mistakes minister unto you of what NOT to due, and allow the joy of the Lord to fill your heart that you were taught through some one else, but don’t stop there! Go and shine the light God has placed within you to just love the other person and keep in fervent prayer for the one who is not wailing right, trusting in Jesus to bring order in their life. Let us not be Holy Spirit jr., but trust in the power and authority of Christ.
I Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily
I believe Pastor Philip Cappuccio captures the heart of this message in his statement saying "Challenges in the way of advancement should never be interpreted as a reason to withdraw from your pursuit of the worthy cause. Challenges simply offer resistance and with resistance comes growth and strength. When facing a challenge, you must ask yourself, have I just met my excuse to stop or has an opportunity arrive.d for me to be made strong?? Your answer will determine important outcomes!"
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
God Bless
