To my fellow readers, this is a post to all who want change for the good within their; home, school, nation’s government, church, family, and lives in general. This brief little word was inspired by the discussions that go on at my school campus and in listening of what people have to say concerning change for the better in the nations of all around that are affected by the present economic crisis.
Titus 1:1 (KJV) Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
What I mostly hear from the voice of a lost people concerning the shaking in not only America, but in other nations, is that they are willing to “try” and go back to living a life of “good” morals.
At my campus as I sit in debate and reason amongst the students at the college I attend, as each gives their ultimate solution to solving the world’s problems…they resort to “good” moral living, yet they think that is a humbling change to them to fit into their lives. Yet, the very good this world refers to is a good that is in the eyes and nature of Satan himself.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The only thing humbling is when we as a people come to repentance. When we as a nation UNDER God, The Lord Jesus Christ, get on our knees and receive not only His Salvation, but His proper direction into our lives. His alignment which is to follow after His name, His Kingdom, His Righteousness, His authority.
As we read in Titus 1:1 Paul states that the acknowledgement after truth is after godliness, not goodness. Now there is a difference of goodness and godliness when we refer to this world of understanding and acceptance of what is and is not good in the larger majority. Godliness is good in the sight and truth of The Lord which is not, unlike this world, perverted and twisted. All things are truly good in His name, which is by His Word! Like in Genesis as we read of creation, that God spoke His word and He saw that it was good. It was good only because it was godly, in other words it was good only because it was after His will and intent, not man’s.
I ask you my fellow reader, do you really want to see true change in the World? Change of true “hope”? Well, the Bible says that Jesus IS our blessed hope. The only way He will stop the shaking in the world today is if we repent and get back to living a life in not just by good morals, but godly morals.
I believe that Jesus didn’t liberate us on the cross and bring us to our Kingdom inheritance only through Him so that we can just live life by the world standard of good morals. If we through Christ are children of The Almighty God, then we are called to live godly before The Lord God our Father and the lost. In no way under a vain and worldly religious fashion, but only as sons and daughters who believe upon the Lord, receiving His salvation and dare to desire to walk and abide in His righteousness.
Repentance is not a bad thing, it’s a good thing. It’s a liberating condition of the heart from burdens straight into the arms of Jesus. The world says repentance is bad due to loosing your pride, yet again the world calls evil good and good evil according to not only Isaiah 5:20, but to common sense in Christ. If we as the bride of Christ which is the Church want to see this world come to its knees in repentance and embracing the godliness which is truth according to The Word of God, then we first must learn to repent.
The Bible says that where the Spirit of The Lord is, there is liberty. To repent means to turn away and walk in liberation (freedom) from that which you repented of. Preaching of freedom is not enough, but to walk in Repentance by The Grace of God, makes the message of liberation in Jesus a more true reality in living color.
Religion first says that others must change and be right, but relationship in Christ says I must daily change and be right, in right step with Jesus. When we change then the whole world changes.
I encourage us all; let’s not just live life after good morals, but after godly morals! Let’s daily come before the throne to be back in proper order with the Lord. Let’s daily desire to go only where He is going and not the other way around. There is no other name to follow that has power and truth eternal, than the name of Jesus Christ.
Parents, love Christ and your children and be the example of godliness. Live the Word of God out to your children so that you and your family and church can walk hand in hand changing a generation back to eternal love which is only found in Christ! Be the best parent you can be in Christ. Your responsibility is not only to raise up your child, but to your best ability, bring them and your whole household into the presence of God.
Children, desire to follow hard after Jesus with all your heart. Obey and honor your parents that The Lord has set in your life. No matter you agree or disagree with your parents, God has placed them in your life to learn from them and perfect your heart more after Jesus. This world’s standards are limited along with people’s own personal views, but God’s is forever eternal and most rewarding.
Thank God for His Son Jesus! Thank God that we can live godly in His righteousness! Only by abiding our lives in His Word and the leading of His Holy Spirit, change for the best will come.
Living after godly morals is to live a Kingdom lifestyle! The very ministry of Jesus was of The Kingdom of God. So I encourage us to daily live a life of The Kingdom! If the Kingdom we recieved through Christ is not a Kingdom that is shaken, the just think how this world would be affected. Affect by The Kingdom of God!
II Timothy 3:16-17 (16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (17)That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
God Bless
