ONE TREE REGROWN

Job 14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Every book and just about every Chapter within the Bible gives, either through plain or prophetic illustration through recorded series of events, the revelation concerning the Kingdom of God coming to earth, the glorious resurrection of those dead in Christ and those condemned to a second and final death, those who will perish, as in not living eternal, but flat lined dead. Well, in the book of Job, through this man’s testing from God by means of the allowance of satanic attack upon and around him, Job gives a prophetic description concerning the arrangements of death, through his own afflictions. It is incredible; however in his agonizing cry and plea his says this… For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Job 14:7. I believe among many things and perhaps him not knowing or being a prophet, he gives a prophetic statement concerning the greatest Salvation ever and only from Jesus Christ to all who believe, repent, and turn away from wickedness.

Mark 4:3-9 (3) Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: (4) And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. (5) And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: (6) But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. (7) And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. (8) And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. (9) And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Now consider a dandelion and how when you pluck one up out of the grown and blow upon it, the dandelion’s seeds will detach from the plant, float through the air and land somewhere on the ground, thus resulting into another growth of a fully matured dandelion. Any seed in the grown will grow, if in proper soil, receives good nourishment by necessary amounts of water and sunlight. Growth in the earth is one of the greatest wonders to uphold that God brought into order and bears witness in itself to His constant creative touch within this world. As we have read in a portion of Mark 4 there are certain elements needed for a seed to properly grow and bear much fruit.

All throughout the Old and New Testament and till this day, God has planted the seed of His promising Word into the lives of many, calling them to be separated, found children of God by covenant and to prove that which is good, perfect, and acceptable to God’s will and His alone! However, all except for One as stumbled and somewhat allowed damage or some un-required inefficiency to take root toward their growth as they, as Paul says in Philippians 3:14, “ press toward the mark of the high calling” which is to continue to establish the great seed of God’s Word, of God’s Kingdom, of His Salvation throughout all the earth, in every heart by constantly pointing to Calvary!

Again, Job said… “For there is hope of a tree…” During such time of confusion and affliction, Job set his eyes upon a hope which is stronger and much mightier than he himself, though fallen within his heart due to such great afflictions, Job saw beyond his present distress and sought to it that this great and powerful God that is allowing all this havoc, to re-grow in his conscious or be restored in his heart again in all solid strength, thus resulting in obtaining a contrite spirit after the faithful covenant Job shares with the Lord!

Beloved, though we go through such tough, confusing, and excruciating times, I am here to encourage and tell you to set your eyes upon the higher hope! As Job said, for there is hope of a tree, that if it be cut down, it WILL sprout again!!! Perhaps you have gone through such turmoil and even depression that enabled and influenced you to take your eyes of the saving tree of Calvary, but as Job said, IF it be cut down or in other words, IF you have allowed the tree to be cut down within your heart and abandoned the JOY of your salvation, by giving heed to your own issues and afflictions, turn your eyes on the true prize…Jesus Christ! And if you do you will find that the Joy within the promising truth embedded in Calvary’s tree will begin to regrow and be restored within your heart, the Joy of that only salvational seal and promise be restored back in the place of authority in your life, the authority of Christ reigning within your heart!

You see beloved, though it seemed to the eyes of the flesh, the eyes of Christ’s disciples that the tree was cut down, meaning that death for a while came to Jesus and some time has passed where nothing seemed to have happened above the surface, however not knowing that beneath the surface the True Tree, the True Vine, the Solid Rock, the One who conquered the grave and death, the One who is the Word sown as seed from the hand of God through the womb of a virgin, the One that restored promise back to all who believe, the first fruits of all Glory, the One who established and restored the promising tree of Life through His pure blood has totally fulfilled the saving grace promise that was issued out from the throne room of heaven since the beginning of the ages!

I encourage all of us, even through this exhortation that we must always keep our gaze upon the cross. Allow the tree of Life to stand firm within your heard and bud forth great fruit to a hungry, lost people who lost sight of this unshaken and immovable tree, the cross. Don’t allow your mouth to be silent to the ongoing music and ring of Salvation that never ceased since over 2,000 years ago and never will, until Christ comes to gather those whom the Father has given Him and establish His Kingdom on a new earth that hold no weeping or sorrow from former days or pretty much a former type of life! John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Lets not try to do things by our own means allowing any ounce of pride to de-root the plant of God’s word within our being, but rather let us daily carry and prop up the only cross/ tree that saves and to be a tender, meek and humble branch that will never cease to spread forth the Gospel and example of Christ Jesus! An amazing truth, that if a bone in our body breaks and we put a cast on it and it heals, the bone actually healed and became restored even stronger than it once was. So like in Jobs life and any other example and person who commits their whole life the Christ, I encourage us to be willing to go through the brokenness by trial and circumstances, again trusting in the Lord to bring you through victoriously and much stronger in Him then you ever were before you went through the trial, however never take your eyes of Him! II Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Allow Christ’s blood and the brightness of His glory to nourish the tree that bears witness to His saving grace within your life that the Word that God has placed within you will continue to grow and be deeply rooted within your heart, that you will bear witness and constantly know without a shadow of a doubt that your Redeemer lives and shall never cease to distribute His joy through your life to a dead and hurting world! Mark 4:26, 31-32 (26)And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; (31) It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:(32) But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercey; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

God Bless
