THY FATHER AND MOTHER

Exodus 21:17And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

To my fellow reader and lover of the only one who has saved us on the cross by shedding His blood. We all know the Bible says to honor our mother and father, and if we do so, long life is promised. Ephesians 6:2-3 (2) Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; (3) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. This is much more than just a simple promise to keep children in line, per say, but this has to do with the issue of eternal life in the Kingdom.

If you read Mark 7, you see how the Pharisees, in their hypocritical self, ask Jesus why His disciples eat bread with unwashed hands (verse. 5) by virtue of not in keeping with the TRADITION of elders. We then further read that Jesus gets to the heart of the matter, literally, exposing the heart of the Pharisees. Mark 7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Mark 7:9-10And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

The issue with the Pharisees was not themselves cleaning their hands, but rather themselves having a FILTHY and cursed mouth against God and His people.

Psalm 24:4 He that hath clean hands, AND a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh

Now every found son in Christ should know God as their Father. We see Jesus by virtue of His humanity call God Father all except one time and that was when He was on the cross when Jesus took on the sins and the Father forsook Him as a Son but of that moment, forced to become a prodigal in a way by partaking of something foreign and strange to that which is Righteous and Just, but thank God there was fulfilled restoration! Yes He is God, but by relationship and truth, He is our heavenly Father. We are called to glorify God (Is. 43:7, Rom. 11:36), thus we are to honor Him!

Now there is something unique about a mother that God has created. Only a woman can give birth.

Through her womb is the "gateway" of life. Man can NOT give birth, no matter what todays age would think, it can not happen, but only the woman. This is how and why Jesus had to come into this world through a woman, better yet and only though a virgin who has never been touched by any man. God could fulfill His plan of bringing a Savior to this world no problem, but by His own creation and covenant, He had to get through the woman, for she is (as He created her to be by reproductive function) the gateway into life. She holds this position because when the 1st Adam was created he was made from dirt and God’s breath, but the woman was not. She was taken out of life, out of Adam. Though to the dust we shall return, no matter what gender (Gen. 3:19). The point I want to make concerning the mother, the woman that she is, is that God taken her originally out of life and she is the gateway.

Today, by moral and biblical principle, we know to respect and show honor to our natural parents, as we ought to. Though in today’s young generation, that is barely seen, even in the church. When Jesus was talking to the Pharisees, He knew that though by works they may have respected their natural father and mother, as they ought to by law, they are abusing the heavenly Father and spiritual mother. They were bad mouthing God the Father, and Church (followers of Christ) the mother. (Acts 11:26)

The Church?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the LIFE…”

Out of the 2nd Adam, Jesus (1 Cor. 15:45), the woman, the mother, was formed. Matthew 16:16-18 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the SON of the LIVING God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY CHURCH; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The Church came out of Jesus Christ who is life!

Like Eve was to the 1st Adam, so is the Church is to the last Adam, married. The Church is also a mother that ought to and IS commanded to be fruitful and multiply by virtue of joint union with the spouse and not a prostitute. Genesis 1:28 And God BLESSED THEM (together), and God said (not a suggestion) unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish THE EARTH, and SUBDUE IT: and have DOMINION (Kingdom authority) over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over EVERY living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Acts 16:5 And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

A mother also nourishes, and the church is to nourish believers with life only found IN the things of Christ, from which the church came into existence in the first place, by the Word! Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Jesus was stressing this point out to the Pharisees, that if you curse, speaking cursing to God and His bride, you are promised death! Perishing death or in other words, you will be in none remembrance and wont live long on this earth, not so much the earth in this phase now, but in its NEW phase! No eternal life for you!

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. MY BRETHEREN, these things ought not so to be.

Revelations 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make ALL things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

I write this to say and encourage us, let us honor our heavenly father and mother, to honor God and His Bride. It breaks my heart obviously to see the corruption the Bride has partaken of and corruption indeed. Many within the Church has converted to become Pharisees by dishonoring the Church with such inequity and distraught! To dishonor the Bride, IS to dishonor God!

We GOT to continue to get into a place of prayer for the life sake of the Church! To pray for our leaders, for the flock, for all that join as the body of Christ... IN RE-MEMBERANCE and AT-ONE-MENT! If the church is not connected to Life Himself, who IS the vine, then we are nothing but unfruitful and dead! The dead does NOT and can NOT produce living fruit! It’s not a curse, but a blessing to pray and cry out for the bride of Christ as the Bride calls upon her Groom!

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread,and in prayers.
